Problems/Service/Maintenance Do you have problems with your new 2.0, 2.2, or 2.4L? What kind of service did you have done?

Tranny shifting hard ??? Please Help!!

Question Tranny shifting hard ??? Please Help!!

ok so i started my car everything was good. drove to the gas station...fine. turned car back on and the shift was hard when i put it in drive, started to drive and it sort of skipped back and forth from 1st to 2nd then stalled. now it just shifts hard through the gears......TCM maybe? fluids?? i want to fix it myself bc i HATE paying just for the diagnostic but this one may be out of my control. suggestions please!!!

I think the problem is caused by the intake and exhaust cam selinoids ,sometimes changing the engine oil
Will fix the problem,but Im not 100%.
some how dirty oil affects these,
Is there a cel have it checked there could be one in history.

Uh, yeah....and you make this assumption from god knows where? I don't even think these motors have cam solenoids. How would you make this crazy assumption based on the stuff he posted? lol

haha could be tcm. i had mine replaced under a 100k warranty ..or a fuse which was my latest tranny issue

A fuse?????? I'd be pissed if I take me car to the dealer for a fuse lol well I guess we will find out today I guess I'm gonna have to take it there and pay them to fix it but a lot of ppl have told me to get the fluid checked and or have new filters put in
