Trunk Locks

Does any one know of a how to on changing out the trunk locks, ive been told its not hard to do?

I tried it with BlackWidow and we both f'ed up our locks, and we aren't idiots either (although I'm sure you guys will prove us wrong).

There is a post someplace about a guy who swapped over to a cf trunk lid and did it all.

I would tell you how except it didn't work well for us so I'd rather not give bad advice.

Yea your remote will work, all the remote does is release the latch in the trunk

I don't even have my lock anymore and the button/ remote works fine.

Actually on Widow's car it didn't work. We must have twisted the cylinder too much and bent something up in the latch itself.

There is a clip on the backside of the lock that you have to remove before the lock will come out.
