Turbo????
Earlier this month i was at BYT place getting my car tuned. While trying to get my car tuned Nick noticed that i had a bad air leak. Pulled bypass off had alot of oil on it. Pulled charge piping off and that had alot of oil in it. I know that turbos do create oil but there is alot of oil. What could this be thr turbo seal gone bad because they is barely and shaft play. Or the turbo on its last leg.
Thanks
Mike

Well i seen cobaltss.net reimbursed me once and my paypal shows it but i have yet to recieve anything for my other charge.. I did it twice because th efirst time it didnt work...
just do the compression and leakdown test thats the only way to know for sure
but when i was getting my turbo replaced i actually called borg warner and they said that our k04 doesn't have seals on it.....idk sounded strange but they are the ones that make it so who knows
but is the car blowing any kind of smoke???

the other one is an air leakdown test. in a way the same as a compression test but you pump a certain amount of air in the cylinder then shut off your air supply at a certain psi, then watch said guage to see how fast it leaks out. or get an air leakdown guage.
i dont know which they were referring to. but i hope this helps
