I had a flat this morning. Yay me Happy B-Day plus a flat tire... and when changing it I managed to crunch my rayban sunglasses. I loved those glasses. Sigh.

Anyway I get the spare on and drive to the dealership. They take a look and say they can't fix it because the tire is too worn out. Tell me I need two new tires. I mention warranty on the tires and they explain that there is no warranty. So I explain that there must be a warranty on the tire from pirellie (sp) They try and argue it saying I drive it too hard. (I'm not a racer.) I simply say no to that and move on. So he go's and talks to the service manager. Long story short. I get two new tires this time.

yay me!

If I were younger like mid 20's or so I would not have gotten the same deal I garuntee. And it helps I was messing with my laptop when they asked talked to me about it.

 

How in the **** did you pull that off. I hit a damn pothole and blew out my passenger side rear tire and all the road hazard thing will cover is $200 of one tire. I have to pay the difference and went totally out of pocket for a second tire. Then again I'm 22...

 

Dunno bill total would be 636 from my dealer for two new front tires and all that is involved. My out of pocket.. 0.

Wheee... I picked had it done this morning because they had to special order the tires!!

My out of pocket for the one tire was $74. Just got it back today after it being at the dealership for one week. They also had to special order the tire.

 

Next time just say you have the tires for life program like I do. You get 8 tires out of the whole deal but there is a contract and all that bs. And it was a short lived option GM did and I am one of the few who have it. I got 4 brand new PZeros for free thanks to it.
