Underbody Damage

I was drivng to work and hit some ice and long story short i ended up in a front yard. The only damage is theres a piece of aluminun hanging. It looks like it covers up part of my exhaust piping. I will post pictures tommorrow but i was wondering if anyone knows what this is and if its a simple remove and bolt a new one on.

THanks in advance

Depends on which one it is that is damaged.

I removed the long one down the center of my car because the rivets that hold it came loose and were making noise.
The metal was so thin I couln't re-rivit it so I tossed it!
