Car was into dealer overnight for a cold start to try to determine what the cold start engine rattle is.

The noise was heard and documented. They asked me to drive the car until it hit 5000kms and come back for a free oil change and they would recheck the noise.

They did say that this was not a common noise for an ecotec. Where that gets me, I don't know,

 

dude mine does the same thing the colder outside the worse it is I changed oil at 873 miles to moble one thinking that would help but it has not still vary noisy at 1700 miles 2.4 ss
