Vacuum tank delete
Vacuum tank delete
Hi fellas. Can someone post up a picture on where the vacuum hoses go on the solenoid and intake manifold please. I searched the threads but the pictures do not come up. Thanks
After vacuum delete mod. Right now from what I understand hose from closest to window shield goes to intake mani and hosethat's close to lower map sensor goes back to solenoid? I'm kinda confused any help is appreciated. Thanks
No, top, or closest to windsheild as u call it, goes to lower cp, bottom or closest to front of car goes to intake manifold, side one or closest to passenger side of car goes to bpv
I had the vacuum tank delete for a while and got some occasion/random pre-codes for evap purge system (IIRC). never through a CEL or stored it permanently though.
I hooked the vacuum tank back in the system and have not had any return of the codes. I assume it needs the vacuum stored in there at certain moments when there is not any in the intake manifold for some of the evap purge functions.

I know I know. Is there anything involved with tuning if it's deleted? Because I know when it's disconnected the car has a hard time cold starting. But that may be because i just disconnect the electrical connection and don't vent the vent the tube.
It shouldnt matter at all. As long as everything is dont correctly. Ur bpv should go straight to manifold, ur lower cp port needs to be blocked , if u cant on the pipe u have then u just leave it on the solinoid and run a line from the bottom port of the solinoid to the side port so there is no leaks.
