diagnose it...I've checked the bypass valve and it moves fine but I can't tell if it's stuck open(not sure how to?)...but I did find that the 2 lines that connect to the bypass valve were kind of dry rottes and cracked so I replaced it thinking that might make a difference but not much if anything...I'm totally stock aside from my injen intake so I doubt any tuning issues...but what other things could it be? I'm hoping its not like a gasket or but not sure ohhh and it drives totally fine just not so Superchargerish but no kind of shakes or funky idling...so throw me some suggestions to check cause otherwise I'm just gonna take it in to get checked on but of course in my manly stubborn ways I'd rather do it myself

 

My car was making 3psi only so I changed out the bypass solenoid and that wasn't it($40 from CED). I unbolted the bypass valve and I sprayed WD40 on the rod and pushed it up and down and that fixed it. The rod was moving up and down but I guess it wasn't doing it all the way. I have GMS2 and a K&N Typhoon for mods

 

wow ok...well I'll try that cause i'm only getting about 2.5psi max so I'll try unbolting and messing with it thanks

 

Was the Bypass the problem?? I have same the same exact problem

 

this is the performance section this section is about making the engine perform better not the my car is broke section that section is called problems/service/maintenance post your car is broke in that section not the performance section
