Vibrating brake pedal in LNF

Just last night I was driving and noticed the brake pedal vibrates when stepped on at any speed I have replaced the rear brakes back in December and a few days after the esc light came on but wasnt affecting the car but now I'm wondering what would cause this...any ideas?

Does the steering wheel shake too? Strange noises? Need more info for a better diagnosis, but it sounds like warped rotors, but it could be a couple other things, too.

My bet is on warped rear rotors. That's why the wheel doesn't shake. Plus you did rear brake work.

Did you get new pads and rotors or just pads? Did you bed the pads in?

I don't always recommend this, but I have been told in the past that if you apply a little ebrake while going 40-50mph that you will feel vibration if it's the rear rotor.

Then they weren't bedded. It's a braking process to mate pads to rotors... a tech isn't going to do such a thing. With that said, I doubt that's your problem... and warping rear rotors is really hard to do. Has this problem been around ever since the rear brake job was done? If so, I'd check to make sure everything was done properly. In your case, since it seems like you have other people do the work, I'd take it back to the shop that did it and explain to them that ever since you had them work on the car, you've had this problem with the parts they installed.

To add to this for clarification purposes... make sure you're holding in that ebrake release button and ease into the ebrake, don't just jerk the son of a bitch up. Do this in a secluded area so that if you screw it up, you're the only one that should be affected. Not something to do on a busy interstate, quite obviously.

You will feel it if it's the rear rotors. I used this method when trying to figure out which of my newly installed brake pads were squealing... it's effective.

lolwut? You need to do a better job of explaining things if you want some help.

Do the ebrake check like was suggested above. What rotors are you running?

As far as your engine problems, when was the last time you changed your spark plugs? What squeaks when you shift?

Plugs and wires were changed when I bought the car last year so I know it's not then and I'm goin to assume its the tranny...it's difficult to explain without actually witnessing it....yeah sorry I have a hard time explain things through words especially text...always easier to explain in person lol

Well we don't have spark plug wires.

The car shouldn't bog at all after shifting that high up unless you hit the rev limiter or something weird.

Well you know what I mean...I always say plugs and wires when I talk about spark plugs...I never hit rev limiter I always shift shy of 6000rpm...no one has a solution to the tranny problem...not even the dealership and ive been to 2 different ones
