Exclamation vvme issues

anyone have problems with a kit they got from them for bi-xenon hid? i have just been out for a couple hours trying to get it to work and have had no luck whatsoever! to those with hid's where did you get them from and have you had any problems?

It seems like it is hit or miss with VVME. I know of one guy who bought a kit from them that came in with a bad ballast, he called them and they said they would warranty it if they sent him 20 bucks.

Doesnt sound like a warranty to me, but whatever....

Are you using relays so you draw power directly from the battery into the ballast? Hids, once warmed, consume less current then halogens of the same wattage rating, but when they are in the warm up stage, they pull a considerable amount more amps then halogens. It could be that they are not getting enough amperage.

it uses a relay and it is hooked up right to the post on the fuse block

well, then Im stumped.

The only other thing I can tell you to do is to connect the ballast directly to the battery and see if it comes on. If it does, then I guess it means there is something wrong with the relays. Other then that, youve either got a bad set of bulbs or a ballast. And since theres no filiment in those bulbs, I couldnt tell you how to figure out which is the issue.

i already put an email to vvme and am hoping they get back to me soon i'm gonna try and get them to send me another set before i send the ones i have back to them.
