Wastegate rod adjustment help

I removed turbo and removed wastegate actuator. I cannot seem to find the sweet spot on where to adjust it to. I was running about 20-21lbs boost on stock adjustment, can anybody post a picture or take a thread count as to where i need to be at to get back stock? I am not getting boost or getting 5lbs really quick and cutting out.

..

A good starting point is to turn the nut until in contacts the wastegate arm with no slack, and then 2 full turns. I put some cross hatch marks with Dremel on the nut to easier reference the flat when I cranked it down. Its easy to lose track. Also you may need to grasp the rod with a small pair of vice grips to keep it from spinning.

Is this is about where it was set stock? Thats where i had it and id like to get it as close as i can to there. And a questions beside the point.
If i were to tighten it a little tighter than where i had it, what sort of difference would that make? Not that i plan to, ive just never messed with it before chra rebuild and im curious.

That is about where they are stock. Not a good idea to overtighten, it may bed the waste gate arm
