I have an 07 ss/sc. its all stock.. after getting gas it acts like it doesnt want to start. then once it starts it revs way up the way down and will sometimes stall out. Then after i drive up the road a few its fine untill the next time i get gas..

Hmm, interesting. I was going to start pointing fingers at carbon build up in your throttle body. But since it is only when you fill up, there's something else.

 

Purge solenoid

 

Beat me to it. If it does it only when you fill up, it's most likely in the evap system.

 

i have a 07 SS none super charged and it does the same thing. it only does it when i get gas! i was thinking it was maybe the fuel filter

 

A crappy filter should show signs other than only doing it when you get gas.

Another symptom of an evap problem is if when you're filling up with gas it kicks the pump off mid-fill.

 

Not the same problem, but this happened to me a few years ago....

sorry to dig up an old thread, but did anyone ever solve this? My 07 ss/sc just started doing this recently....

 

Mine was doing it until I replaced the evap purge solenoid, its like 18 bucks shipped from rockauto.com and took me 5 minutes to replace. Hasn't done it since.

 

Didnt they resolve it by removing the spider nest?

common on LSJ and LNF. Check for evap system system codes

 

tried looking on rockauto for the part, but it was not showing up as a evap purge solenoid...

does anyone have the part number? or can direct me to the page...

Sorry to also bring this back but im having the EXACT same issue

I need someone to clear this up better.

I already replaced the Vapor Canister Purge Valve. HERE

Is my issue the Vent valve Solenoid?? Hopefully it is because im going to order it.
