Try gmpartsdirect if you want to try and get an OEM for cheaper. Unless you have aftermarket racing seats racing seat belts will look out of place in the interior

Sarah is the GM customer service rep on this site and if you go to the dealer you may possibly be able to get part numbers from them

Pretty much belts are dealer only item and mainly have to be ordered unless you want to go with a aftermarket harness style set up but then you have to deal with mounting an such.

I don't know of any junkyards that will sell you the belt because they are liable if something happens. I can't atleast buy them up here. Trust me it's worth it to go buy a new one than cheap out and have it break on you when you need it with a "used" one.

Hello there!

I checked gmpartsdirect.com for your Cobalt model and year and see that there are different parts of the seat belt assembly available there. Or I would also certainly recommend speaking with your servicing dealership. I realize that sometimes personal situations make this option difficult, but where safety is concerned it ought to be a good investment.

If I can be of any further assistance, feel free to get in touch with me here on the forum!
Best,
Sarah
