Please help I have a 2010 lnf and I just powdercoated my valve cover and now I have a loud whining (sounds like gears) coming from the front of the engine. I covered the engine the whole time the valve cover was off and cleaned the cover with solvent, water then air to make sure there wasn't any sand from the blaster left in it. I've also changed my oil. The sound will go away while driving at speed but comes back when I slow down any thoughts? Thanks

At least you didn't have persistent whining coming from the passenger seat. Alternators are easy to change, the other not as much....
