Angry why would this happen?

i have an 06 cobalt coupe and ive had the EBCM replaced 4 times so i did some looking around on here and i didnt find anything about it the abs fails and the asb, traction control, and brake lights all come one and then my brakes fail and i have to pull the ebrake "everytime this happens"
i found this on here and its kinda like my problems https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...highlight=EBCM
i printed it and brought it to my dealership to see if they thought it was the BCM also and they replaced the EBCM again.

please help im unsafe in this car!!!

Well the dealership is kind of on the right track....the ABS system is a complete override for your braking and it is controlled by the BCM. That statement provides the reason why all your lights come on and your brakes fail...because abs is overriding everything and your powerless except for your handbrake.

The way I figure it replacing the BCM is fine, but its not addressing the real issue that you have a short somewhere in the ABS/TCS sensors/wiring that connect to the BCM or a bad sensor somewhere. Something is not reporting what is actually going on, which is causing your visits to mr toads wild ride. Dealerships, unfortunately are reluctant to spend that much time and effort to find something that "sometimes fails."

Do what I did, get a digital camera...take a video of when it happens, take a video of the guage lights and your foot pressing the brake to the floor and then show it to them. I had to do this for the "ghost" in my radio and when they couldn't figure out what was wrong they replaced it with a new one.

I think you best go to another Dealer !
The one your going to does not have a clue,After the second one I would of left the car there until they could tell or show me what was causing the failure.
There has to be something else wrong to cause this.

Isn't there also a stipulation on having the same problem repeatedly in a car? I thought it was 3 times... you are on 4 already
