ok so i got a 2.4 automatic and when i drop down to L and launch when the car shifts from 1st to 2nd i hear a distinct PSH like a damn BOV and it only happends when im in L going from 1st to 2nd at WOT i have no idea what it could be and if its somthin i should worry about or not.

 

19 vews and no one has an idea?! i was thinking a motor mount maybe?

 

its not a motor mount that would be a thump. idk man without actually hearin it... but i do advise you not to "shift" your automatic.

maybe your transmission whinning...

 

I get that too, I think it's the throttle body snapping shut, while the engine is still pulling in air, which would explain the loud sucking noise

 

hey thanks the throttle body makes sence is there any way to stop that from happening
