winshield wipers dont stop
So here is the problem...my windshield wipers dont stop, i have to turn the car off and pull the fuse or relay to make them stop. Also I have no control over the speed, just constant movement, no delay. At least they don't turn on automatically, they just don't stop.
I checked the fuses and relays and they all look good, I tried swapping relays, no change.
Thanks

If its staying on in slow speed it could be wpr 1 relay stuck on by the looks of the print.
Do they keep running even if you pull wpr1 relay ?
Can you adjust speeds even though ignition is off and key removed?
Just try tapping on the wpr relays to stop the wipers ,if that works it is the relay.
Could also be a problem with the bcm.You havent wired anything into that circut have you ?

i have no control over speed...same speed all the time, forever...until I pull the relay/fuse. I'm not sure what relay I pulled, its the one closest to the fuse though. I would pull the fuse, but its hard to time it so they stop in the down position with the fuse. Moving, tapping, hitting the relays has no effect. I think that my radar detector is hardwired into the ignition wire (brown) in that area. I also have a "add a fuse" in the sunroof fuse (no sunroof on car).

I didn't have a chance to go over the troubleshooting procedures last night but, I just noticed something on the way in to work this morning, when my wipers are on the light for the rear window defogger is also on. I can't make the light go out, but when the wipers are off the light functions normally. Im fairly certain that the two issues are related. Now I just need to wait till I get home and find out where these signals cross.

Un install the radar detector first and see if that makes any difference.
Try wiggling the wires on the steering colum to see if you can get the wipers to stop(possible short to voltage)
