Won't idle...
Won't idle...
Ok, so here is my background story. Got a new 2010 Cobalt SS 2 weeks ago. Was out last night and went over a high parking lot entrance a little too fast (was dark and didn't notice how high it was). I scrape the bottom of the front bumper, and the car cuts out on me. Get it started again and the thing goes into limp home mode or something, cause the car made no power, but I didn't get any CEL or any error codes or anything. I got home and parked it and was planning on taking it to the dealership today (until I freaking ice storm come through).
Now here iss where I think I messed up big time. Before I left the car, I disconnected the battery in the hopes of it just resetting it's self and all being well (cause I got no warning lights or anything thinking maybe the bump set something off). So I come back out today, connect the battery, start it up, and the thing immediately dies on me as soon as the RPMs start to drop. When I start it up and give it some gas, the engine sounds really funny and as soon as I let off the gas, around 1000 RPM the car quits.
So I going to get it towed back to the dealership tomorrow if it's open. But I was wondering if anybody on here know what the heck happened?

it would still idle though if that were the case, just not boost. the car will still idle even if the intake is completely removed from the throttle body
Well just a quick update. Started the car up today and it idles now, but around 400-500 RPMs and sounds really rough. I got it towed to the dealership where I bought it and they are going to start to work on it tomorrow.
I checked out the bottom of the front bumper and the only damage I could see was a few scratches on the bottom of the front lip. Other than that everything looked good from what I could see. I'll just have to see what the mechanics say tomorrow.
