wont start after fill up

wont start after fill up

has anyone had a problem with there ss/tc not wanting to start after u fill it up?

yep... all ya gota do is turn the key to the on position, and sit tight for about 20 seconds, then it will start right up..

otherwise known as a bad evap purge solenoid, idk the exact details of the problem but it is very common, there is a couple threads about it on here, recent.... some guys have unplugged the solenoid to get rid of the problem, it works, but then that does somethin with the fuel trims and will eventually throw a CEL... i think the name of the thread is ""evap purge solenoid unplugged=happy lnf""

thanks alot and my engine light is on for the purge sensor it olny comes on when i put the tune on it but i ran the tune for months before it came on and now it comes on after just a couple days..

SC's have the same problem when the purge valve is stuck open and needs to be replaced.

Purge solenoid.

Bet money on it.

Car will turn over then immediatetly die. right?
