Ok so I was driving to my gf to pick her up and when I turned the car off... The radio immediately shuts off and all power is gone...

My trunk button didn't even work...

So I try to turn her back on and nothing... so im like ****! my battery went dead? Brand new car 8k miles and my battery died?

Ok so about 5 minutes later I try again and everything turns on and works fine... my cd got ejected from the player and all my clock and my equalizer setting for everything were reset.

WTF happened?

I do have a amp and 2 12" subs in the trunk... it was installed at circuit city about 3 months ago and so i'm not sure that would be the problem.

 

Check the battery cables are tight in the trunk,They could be loose.

You also could try opening the hood and wiggling the fuse box while the car is running to see if anything happens.
Maybe a loose relay ,connector etc.

Ignition switch went bad???

 

i know this sounds dumb but my 06 ss sc did this with 13000 on it and if you look above the clutch pedal theres a little switch the pedal hits. mine was stuck. popped it lose and everything has worked fine since. weird, very weird.
