Wtf are these codes

Hi guys,

I scanned one of my friend's car with an obd2 scanner and got the following codes :

Name: nN8TbnR.jpg
Views: 147
Size: 43.0 KB

Can't find what they mean anywhere.. Doesn't even seem like it's real codes..

You guys got any idea of what they could mean ? Or maybe I should try to scan it again to see if I get different results.

Thanks !!

those are not real codes. your going to need to get a real scan tool to properly scan it. the best i can tell you is p codes are powertrain and c codes are chassis (abs typically). to get the chassis codes you need more than a generic obd2 code reader.

Ohh, I used it for my LNF and it worked fine.. Not sure why it's not working on his car.

I'll try again too see if it gives me something else, if not then too bad.

Thank you for your help !!

e/ : I know his hand brake isn't working, you think this can throw the C code ?

Those are enhanced DTC's probably on a german car?

You can look them up.

DTC's starting with P2xxx are manufacturere specific codes and are in hex, so 0-9 or a-f is one digit. My Z used to have some p2a01 codes for the factory wideband errors.

Try googling those codes and put what car you're dealing with, it will tell you what they are.

Quick search shows

P2F09 Radiator Temp Out Max on a mini cooper

and C0100 as a #1 abs solenoid failure in many cars.

no results on the p3 code. What car is it and maybe I can look them up through mitchells.
