ur gonna throw codes on either or..your letting much more exhaust past the stock sensor which will throw the code..but i would go with the xtc dp

ive seen the flex piping on the zzp break alot.

I don't see why it would, the whole reason it throws the code is because the cat is eliminated.

It's basically just to tell you that there's a problem and you aren't going to pass inspection.

no the downpipes will still throw a code w/ and w/o a cat...ur sending more exhaust fumes passed the sensor and thats what triggers the code..

having no cat will trigger more than one code.

I ran my XTC downpipe for a few thousand miles before it threw a CEL so just because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it won't

Wait till you've had it on for 6 or more months. I think that is about how long it took my XTC dp to start throwing codes.

I've got a ZZP for sale - $100. But I need a stock downpipe before I can take mine off.

can't you get the pcm programmed to ignore the code? or something. i mean to pass inspection i wouldnt want to change my exhaust everytime just to do that...

idk bout you guys here in pa Inspection is required EVERY year... i'm not trying to swap exhaust every year for 2 damn codes or w.e. it is

don't they actually measure the emissions your car puts out? not just the codes? and I'm curious as to how many people have passed emissions inspection with either dp w/ cat
