On my polished I just spray them with some dupont wheel cleaner before I wash them, and then use some eagle one polish to shine them up. works pretty good.

well don't use the spray on stuff an then spray off with a hose cuz that stuff just plain doesnt work, there is a polish an sealer, zoop sells decent stuff i think but of course the mothers mag an aluminum wheel polish is the way to go...just bought the eagle one anti-corrosion wheel polish for my aftermarket wheels an i'm goin to try that out but after you polish your wheels you should seal them with a wheel sealer, it seals the polish in an makes it last longer an resist scratches a lil better

meguiars gold class doesnt make WHEEL polish i dun believe tho i culd be wrong, the sealers are hard to come by an i'm just starting to do that myself tho a detailer recommend MAXX wheel sealer...zoop makes both a sealer an a polish i believe and zoop sealer is sposed to be a better one, tho as far as polish if you want a good all around polish you can use beyond just your wheels i'd swear by the mothers mag and aluminum polish

That's not going to do any thing for the wheels b/c they are clear coated, I would try somthig like hot rims, spray it on and scrub with a soft bristle brush, should take every thing off. as for maintaing them I wax them with the same wax I use on my car, the wheels are cleared so you aren't going to make them shine any more that thy al ready do. I also use Meguires Quick wheel deailer to keep them clean it works awesome!!

I just use a non-alcohol based glass cleaner. works like a champ and does no damage to the clear coat

So does meguirs quick wheel detailer actually clean the rims or just shine them? because I tried scrubbing them but no luck at all.

I was lookin at black magic cleaners for aluminun rims, anyone used and like this?

I Have used meguiars Hot rims and it works good, when you buy a rim cleaner make sure you read the bottle first!!!!! The cleaner must be safe for coated wheels, if not you will destroy the clear coat, it will turn a milky white and look like ****. as for the quick wheel detailer it cleans the rims good, I use it daily to keep my wheels nice.

I use meguiar's all rim cleaner in the pump spray bottle. Spray on, let stand for about 3 minutes, rinse and repeat. Use a powerwasher to rinse, it knocks off the caked on brake dust pretty well. Aftyerwards use one of those green dish scrubbers and more of the meguiars fot those stubborn spots. Meguiars also does make an aluminum rim polish.

What I always do and it works great is take an old dry undershirt and literally just wipe all the breakdust/dirt off of the wheel. Then when you wash the car, be sure to dry the wheel afterwards and use the same shirt piece to wipe down the wheel again. I re-use the same piece of undershirt (6inch x 6inch square) on all wheels for about 2-3 cleanings. One undershirt should last you like 4-6 months. I swear it works great. I've found with wheel spray that the Armorall wheel spray works, but if you leave even a LITTLE on the wheel (specifically in the lug holes) it will spin out onto the surface while driving leaving nasty streaks and grime on the wheel again.
