Custom Show Plaques

Hey Guys, I know there are a lot of us that show our cars and I would like to have a plaque this show season that would say everything that I have done to my car thus far. I was wondering if anyone knew of a place that made them or how some of you have made them for your cars. I was thinking something that was acrylic that i could just put vinyl on that stated what was done thus far and have room to add to it later. Any ideas?

ummmmm i know that you can be creative and go to home depot and or find local platic shops like over Hear In Washington State We have several comanies like Kel-Tech Plastics and all they do is make custom displays and what not. and we have a company called Cascade Plastics ive seen them make some nice show plaques that light up and everything. i wish i could us mine as a show car but i got so many damn rock chips on my hood because of the snow week and all the salt and rocks they put down. so if i do enter a show i need a new paint job first. do a search online for local plastic comanies

I also know that in my High School and College they have like machine shops with CNC capibilities that can cut and engrave all sorts of stuff for cheap and or free and you can call them a sponsor and what not

rock chips arnt a big issue especially on the hood because at most shows you would open the hood so the judges dont really look at it that much. Also most of them understand that a lot of the cars that enter are daily drivers and that there will be some imperfections like chips

Ive made a show plaque in my younger days out of scratch.

had a sheet metal base for support (which i rolled the front tire onto), a square metal extension arm, then it curved back. I lit it up with blacklights which are mainly for the night car shows which happen quite a bit....like NOPI/HIN style shows where it gets dark.

I got the base of it painted in neon colors, and left room for added mods if need be.

Id have to try and find a pic of it for you guys, took me about a week to build with all the LED's/Neons/Blacklights and such.

My friend made this in Adobe and we printed it at a photoshop for like $50.
