"simple green" is what? a soap or detergent that a person would pick up at canadian tire or something? Also where exactly is the PCM? is spraying between the fuse box and rigth side of the engine okay? There is a lot of vac lines and stuff in there that are fairly dirty?

Simple Green is an all-purpose cleaner/degreaser. The main reason i bought it at first was cuz i read otehr members suggestions and it biodegradable, so yay environment!

This is the one I use. It's concentrated, so i just mix it 50/50 with water and it works great.

More info here

I hope that the tireshine that you are putting on EVREYTHING black under your hood doesn't have silicon in it... If it does have fun replacing everything that cracks latter in time

oh I buy the extra silicone ones and then i rev it with the hood open with a camera pointed at it and watch my charge piping flex. I usually invite friends over and we make bets on if it snaps or not. were let down every time though when it doesnt

go get some Spray Power/Simple Green/Purple Power and spray the sides of the block, valve cover, and blower

scrub with a brush and rinse

I, personally, after this step go over all the plastics and hoses with a good tire shine and use cleaner wax on the painted panels

I've got a 2.4 and the sparkplugs are completely exposed right on top, in your face. Should I be worried about spraying directly on these?
