Thumbs up Evo Mod Delete....

I took off the evo mod, i hated how it kept chipping. Order tc grilles and now deciding what to do with the chevy badge? I had it silver and black too. I am wondering about the SS logo. Any ideas? Thanks.

how did it come off that easy. if you can take an evo mod off then you did not prep it at ALL and painted it ass backwards. lol. hence the chipping. Although you did a good job taking it off, u FAIL applying it. So i dont mark this down as a win in my book no offense lol

unless it was plasti-dipped. Then its all win

actually i used to be in auto body in school and i scuffed it lightly incase i wanted to take it off and i primed and painted and cleared it. I used laquer thinner to get it off and then compounded it and light finished it with a buffer and then wax. Its noticable but not bad. Although much happier without it.

so u admit to improper prep work b/c you werent sure about it in the beginning? i gotta admit theres vinyl and plasti-dip if your looking for a temp look. Now the only way your really gonna get your bumper looking right again is by reclearing it

if you were to plasti dip yours, what steps would you take for prep? This might be something I would do.

btw looks good, no sign of it being previously painted

step 1: clean it
step 2: tape it up
step 3: spray it

thats how u plasti-dip. no prep so it peels off later without damaging anything underneath
