you can use a pink eraser to clean the wax out, or there is plastic X ... you can also look into getting the plastic painted and cleared, so you dont have worry about it.

i have this problem. do u know what i found works well. Tire shine. put tire shine on a rag and wipe down the back plastic. It hides the white spots and makes that plastic look amazing. i do it everytime i wash my car now. i use tire shine all over my car, i use it on my interior plastics too. door panel plastic, shift boot. it works so well

I usually use Meguiar's Vinyl and Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner (M4016). Works mint. No oily residue, and it leaves a fairly matte finish, but brings the colour back. Its the only thing I will ever use on my interior plastics as well. Armour All is total **** and tire dressing I find leaves things far too greasy. I've been in cars before that have been 'cleaned' and some type of dressing was used in the interior and it was greasy, and too shiny IMO. To each his own though.

see i like that wet look. alot of people dont. but i want a deep dark black wet look and for me tire shine gets that look just how i want it. i dont really mind a greasy feeling casue to me it feels clean. Thats just how i like it. Theres alot of great plastic cleaners what work well but they dont leave a deep black look that i like.
DAMNIT TURBOWAX! everytime i go to ur site i always look around for liek an hour wanted to buy a whole bunch of ****.

I use Turtle Wax Ice paste wax. This can be used on all plastic, rubber and paint except windows as stated on the container. I've used it 3 times so far, the rubber and plastic is still dark and nice. The water still beads also in the rain off the paint even after 2 months of being in the elements and no reapplication.

From an old detailer alittle peanut butter on towel will take the dried wax off the black plastic. Use the creamy not the chunky. And yes it does work this is NOT a prank!!!!
Put some on a cloth and rub the area, let sit for a 20 seconds and wipe it off.
