Can't say that I would use that to actually wash a car. I would feel like I would just be grinding dirt into the car with something like that. Would probably be fine to use after a wash or something. I'd use it as a spray detailer but nothing more.

I use a waterless wash sometimes but you have to know when you can get away with it. Personally, I only use if in case of very fine dust or fingerprints. If it's been windy or the car is dirty, there's no substitute for a 2-bucket wash (after a high pressure rinse!).

Waterless wash typically contains more lubricants than say a detail spray, which prevents scratching. Also, a waterless wash wipe down is not as harsh on your wax coat as a soapy bucket wash.

I use this product from Adams, at only 9.95 it's a lot cheaper than the Meguiar's...

LOL yeah that tends to happen. Just a tip you can save some money by buying the porter cable online (assuming that's included in your cart). That initial investment hurts but trust me with their stuff you'll have so much fun detailing your car! Everything just works and in addition it smells nice too lol

I bought a bottle, damn good stuff, and did not scratch my paint just like advertised! Works great, because I am **** about slightly dirty cars. I did all three of the cars today, and it has me sold.

Im impressed by it also. Saved a lot of time at work on the cars. I go over it with the ultimate wax also to give it more of a shine.

x2 i came across those vids somehow and nrxt thing i know i'm thinking ' i wanna buy everything they use' and yea the prices aint pretty. 10 bucks for their waterless wash though thats not too bad!

op, i just wouldn't do it if i didn't have to, or if the car is BARELY dirty. no matter how 'clean' it isi just don't wanna put up with swirls ands cratches, not to mention the amount of towels that i'ld go through just doing one wash

I tried both of them now. The Adams smells like green apples and Im not sure of the weird sour smell of fruit. I love the adams one, it feels like it is 100x slicker than any detail spray I've used before. I go over really lightly with a California duster and then soak the car and I use around 3 towels. I'll probably be ordering a gallon of here before too long lol.

I have used Meguiar's Quick Detailer before six months and I am impressed with it's result. It is designed as a practical supplement to periodic washing. It looks really good on your white paint. My personal opinion for it is very good.
