Non-leather interior cleaning
Any tips on the non-leather interior cleaning? My driver side arm rest/window+lock control material around the plastic is turning black lol, what should I use to clean it without damaging it?

What's best to use on the plastic? I've heard mixed opinions on Armor All, and I think it's a pain to use anyway, given the texture of the dash. I've had my car for 3 months now, and pride myself on keeping it looking as nice as it did when I drove it off the lot.
Thanks in advance!

It's not really a cleaner but i have this thing from meguiars that shines up the dash and the tires and protects from sun damage. Gotta be careful with it though its kinda greasyish. So I recommend applying it with a towel rather than spraying it.

Got it at Advance Auto for ~$6, works awesome, my grey cloth interior doesn't have a single spot on it
Meguiars makes some interior wipes, not sure of the name, they clean and don't leave the surface greasy like Armor-All but give it a nice shine.

i can tell you guys first hand that wiping the black plastics and rubbers on your car off with a damp microfiber cloth and following it up with turbowax's lvr is awesome. i dont even like interior "shine" type products but turbowax's lvr is the ****. please give it a shot

Thanks for the info, guys!
I always wipe up any dust with a microfiber cloth regularly. Keeping the interior looking nice is like an OCD of mine now. I didn't take very good care of my '03 Malibu, and it showed. This is my first ever new car, and I want to keep it looking as new as possible.

Whatever you do do not use ArmorAll. It's been proven to dry the dash and crack. We use a product called Renew at work, but we get it in five gallon pails. I won't use that much in my car in a lifetime.
Just soap and water does the trick!
