There's some really good stuff I have been using on my cars for years to remove dead gug butts and road crap. Its called Honda Cleaner and Polish. Available at any Honda Motorcycle Dealer. comes in a spray can. Spray it on dead bugs on your bumper or on any hard deposits, let it sit for a minute, and wipe it off. Almost every motorcyclist carries this stuff in their bags for quick bug and road tar/grime removal. I keep a can in all my cars for quick touch ups, just as good if not better than all the quick detailers. You can use it on just about any exterior surface and wipes off rubber and plastic without any residue.
Another good product is Plexus. Again, available at any motorcycle shop, this stuff is great on clear plastic like headlights or your plastic instrument panel cover. Bikers use this on their windshields, and its great for removing stuff, even after its dries. Its formulated for clear plastic.
Someone else posted about the Stoners Invisible Glass cleaner. Again, this is about the best stuff you can buy, and IT DOES NOT HURT TINT. One of the few products that does not contain ammonia. Been using it on tinted windows for years without any problems.
