Angry Paint Specks!

..so how do i remove some paint specks from my car? (by some...i mean thousands, lol) i have a black SS/Sc and they stand out like crazy...and nothing i have is working

dont really know what your talking about, but i would do a cleaner wax, wax, and clay bar, if that does not do it, you may need buffing/wet sanding.

to clarify...it seems like i ran over some wet paint or something...and it got allll over the drivers side in little specks...and its become a real pain in the ass to get off

not straight sand paper..u have to wet sand it like a paint shop would have too...the paint u ran over is in the clear coat now and wont come off with a clay bar...

i dont think its that bad....i can get it off with my fingernail and a little goo gone...but there are seriously thousands of them all over the side of my car and i cant do that to each one of them! and regular washing isnt getting them off, i even tried mixing some goo gone into my soap...nothing

i know but if u get a fine grit and keep it wet press lightly its no different than ur finger nail

ya, ive wet sanded guitars before and stuff...so it wouldnt be my first time....maybe i will try a clay bar first, think that might work??

it wasnt that hard, there are just soooooo many of them...i will give that a shot, if it dosent work then wet sanding it is i guess...what grit do you think is safe?

2000 no less than 1500 especially on a black car i had to do this at a body shop one time we had to use laquer thinner then hand polish the whole car cuz the paint got on very single body panel

i was thinking this is what i would have to do....i was thinking about using some fingeranail polish remover to get them off, then washing and waxing like crazy

ya that mite work just DONT RUB hard let what ever you use do the work cuz you can rub rite through the clear and that would suck then polish and wax and you should be set

my paint is f'd up anyway...lol...ive been key'd twice and i swear i find something new every day from people leaning on my car....i dont get it, people have no respect for other peoples stuff!
