Damn man sucks bout your car, some a-hole hit me 2 years ago an scraped the whole passenger side of my car and left a nice big dent that I still havent fixed haha. Got the scratches out but still. I hear you my car is good cept the front end

do these "chips" go into the paint or just white on the paint??

if they go in (you can catch your finger nail in them) then you need repaint...

if they stick out...then claybar or Turbowax block...

Yep, same here. I almost wonder if it's the design of the car that's partially to blame. It is quite low to the ground, and the hood is basically one big curve downward. Maybe I should just get a CF hood?

Is it normal to need to repaint a car after only 2.5 years and/or 25K miles? Seems a little ridiculous to me. I mean it's not like I live in the desert or on a gravel road or something.

i dont think so....my hood is pretty beat up....if you have the hood repainted make sure they go heavy with the clear...it will help this
