Scratch! Help me!

Scratch! Help me!
ok.. so embarassing but true story..
i work the night shift so at 9 45 i was leaving my house. my driveway i basically a cutout off of the road so my whole family parks diaganolly agaist the fence next to eachother. my moms car was on the right side of me and i do this every night. i guess i was just really tired and not being to smart.
anyways.. i start my car, put it in reverse, look in my passenger side mirror then look at my girlfriend to my right waving by. and i had to cut the wheel to the right to turn around at the end of the street so before i hit the snow bank against the side of the road. i cut the wheel to turn and scrape my moms car. i could not beleive i had just done that... i got out of my car in a fit and look. her car had a scrape and my car has a scrape on the rear wheelwell right in front of the wheel. now.. it isnt really what i would call deep, but it looks like a scuff. about 2 cm wide and 4 cm long. just guessing. and i can feel the scratch when i run my finger over it. needless to say i am pissed. my cars paint and body were like... mint.
so now i have this scratch on my car and im wondering if anybody knows the ways to fix this. i want it to look perfect. not a cheap touch up job. basically im wondering if paint shops that will do spot touchup, have there work come out good. i dont wanna get the whole piece repainted because its expensive, but i want it to look good. not a different color. not less shiny. not bumpy. i want it good. so please

Touch up paint is meant for little chips and scratches, if you put it on a larger scratch you'll see it. If you want it to look good again you'll have to go a shop. File a claim and go on, **** happens. But more then likely you can buff most of it out. Take it to a shop a see what happens. It gonna cost to fix it mostly in paint materials.

typically no it will not come out good. Repaint or putting paint on should be a LAST RESORT option only. Many shops just do not know what their doing and will almost never get it right. I have yet to see a paint job leave from another shop without some major defects.
The best thing to do, is to hire a proffessional paint detailer/paint correction. If the scratch is only in the clear coat, they can polish the clear coat which will remove the scratch. If the scratch is through the clear coat, you can use a filler like scratch-x, then wax/seal over top of that.
