1st part i am very unsure of...try using an old claybar first...i dont know how harsh the mr. clean erasers are...

2nd part. i see no problem with it and it is probably a GREAT idea...

the only reason i want to try the Mr clean thing is that i have tried to clean the rims allready with rim cleaners and pressure washers and good ole cursing and swearing.but theres still some nasty brown black spots on the inside of the rim. so im kinda at a loss as to what to try next. also anyone else have an opnion on the interior with the rug cleaner. do you think i can use it on the seats or just the carpet im kinda iffy about the seats not sure why but i just want some opinions thanks

mr clean magic eraser is awesome!. ive used it on the wheels and it def does alright for what it is.

I really like using it on the inside door panel. everytime my mom uses my car she somehow manages to kick her toes across it and leave black scuffs. dumb ****.

Mr Clean Erasers are just a wet sanding sponge. So yes you can use them, just keep them wet and don't scrub too hard.

I'm going to use a carpet cleaner. There isn't a big diff between or carpet in the cars versus the carpet in our hosues.
