Turbo Wax Comparison.
Turbo Wax Comparison.
ok i set out to put turbowax against products i currently use....
first off the car wash/shampoo
First thoughts:
Turbowax car shampoo offered many more suds than Blue Coral car wash....i also compared it to another wash i have called DP Auto Bath Shampoo....The Dp out sudded the Turbowax...
when i used the blue coral soap i had to be careful to keep the mit very soapy....using the turbowax car shampoo the mit stayed soapy....i didnt have to constantly monitor the mit...
the same with the Dp car wash....
Turbowax wins the Wash....DP was not supposed to be in this comparison
Now the cleaner/polish:
The TurboWax Product used was not a fair comparison to the 3m Product used
i was unimpressed with the way the turbo wax handled this step....i dont know if this is the wrong product to compare to 3m dark polish or what but the 3m definitely removed more imperfections..i used a porter cable with orange pad on speed 5 for both...
for my entertainment i used Malco's polish II.... this worked well for me and offered me results i was looking for.
3m wins the polish....but barely....i was not particularly impressed with either product....once again malco was not part of this test
i sealed both sides with Meguires #7 sealent.... No comprison here
Now for the wax:
This was where i expected turbowax to shine....and they did....i was very impressed with how easy it went on and came off...it also left a very nice shine to the paint....the 3m stuff performed very well also...i couldnt notice any difference in the waxes....
in this one i give the nod to turbowax....their stuff went on very easily and removed easily...
so in conclusion both sets of products had their ups and downs....a mix and match batch works best for me...i would recommend turbowax tho for anyone looking to get very good result and easy working....also in my comparison turbo wax beat my 3m/blue coral combo 2-1...
pictures to come....didnt have time for immediate pictures so i will take some now that it has been 2 weeks....as this will show how the products are truly holding up....

thank you for the review, fair is fair, however, "3m definitely removed more imperfections" Not fair, have you told me you were looking to remove imperfections, we could have send you our Swirl remover which will out perform that product, but is my fault, I take the loss.
Regarding the shampoo, did you use the same amount of soap vs water ? 1/2 oz of shampoo vs 5 gallons of water ? if so then the test was fair.
thanks again.

i said that the polish comparison was not fair and that it was a mistake....and yes i did use the proper amount of soap to water.....but i will tell you the other stuff (DP) cost much more than yours and i would give yours the nod b/c of that....your product performed better at a cheaper price.....

I can honestly tell you that we have never had that complain before, but, I must respect your observation, I can’t change your opinion but if you are not happy, I am willing to refund you your entire purchase, send them back to us and you get your money back.
Just send me a PM.
I wont get into the entire R&D on this one, but heres just one sample, as found and 27 days later without the wax, just in case the left side.
