Any other info?

How you applied it?
Was the car hot?
In direct sun?
Type of wax/polish?
How long did you let it sit?

etc. etc., theres many different variables

Perhaps with more info we may be able to assist you

That ICE **** sucks ass!

You first thing you need to do is get that off.... Soo wash your car with dishsoap to remove the wax build up!

1.) Wash it get the buildup off.
2.) Wax using very light coating over the surface doing one section at a time!
3.) Using a microfiber towel get the wax off.

Wax while the surface of the car is cool, not hot! And try and do it in the shade!

its pretty simple you didnt use a microfiber cloth to get the wax off. if u dont allow it enough time to dry or dont use a microfiber cloth you get that clowdy look. just get a microfiber cloth and go over the entire car wiping in circular motions and the clowdyness should dissapear.

ok. to sum all that up. outside temp is about 45f. cloudy day. Used my friends bucketless carr wash stuff. I usually use that spotless Ice stuff and havent had a problem last lear with it. The wax was meguires(sp) tech wax 2.0? I used that spray turtle wax last year. I only waxed the hood with those round microfiber pads. It was like the wax just didnt want to come off the car for some reason. this morning some of the areas of the hood look fine, but the center(supercharger area) is different shades and smeary with swrils and stuff. Looks like crap up close.... Also durning that wash, I noticed a bunch of bumps on the back of my trunk and upon looking closer, they have like little rust spots all over. the bumps are about the size of a mechanichal pencil lead. is that a paint defect on the trunk. I live in michigan and this is its first winter.... oh and just a random piece of information, someone also hit my front bumper under the driver light and took a small chunk of paint. it still looks black so maybe there is still some paint remaining? is there a way to fix the scratch/chip?

i had the same problem when i used eagle wipe and shine detailer. i suspect that when it happened to me that the car was not as clean as it should have been. dawn dish soap and a little extra rubbing got the job done.

the dish soap wont hurt the paint or clear coat? and the specks aren't paint defects?

Im sure if you used it everytime you washed your car it could hurt it over time, but its ok to use it every 5-6 months or so to get off all of the old wax.

triping is on track. the dawn will dewax the car. if the hood is all you waxed then just mix a small amount and use it just where you have the wax and spots. these spots are generally on the trunk, hood, roof.andfender tops. did you use any detail prodcts before waxing?

yeah , clay bar the whole car after winter, and youll probably have to use some dawn on your hood, if you leave the wax on too long, or dont buff it out good, you get shitty swirly wax marks everywhere

when it gets warm, you and i shall have a detailing day.
