You will get there. I quit working on my cobalt for the short term and am working on my sons old Saab. Over next winter though it will get the parts I have stocked up including the zfr.

Yeah need to order new gaskets first to remove the turbo apparently it's still leaking a tiny bit of coolant it has a new gasket so not sure why it's leaking. Should be pretty easy to remove once the transmission is out of the car

Well I haven't gotten very far on the car transmission wise but I finally completed my boost leak tester and i did a boost leak test, I had a pretty big leak on the lower cp @ the tb connection. got that fixed and tightened, I did notice where the maf relocate plate goes it has little bubbles coming out it's not alot, not sure how to get that to seal up perfectly tho any ideas? I did tighten the bolts and it did help a bit.
Now I'm going to put the car back together and test my boost levels and see if that sealed it, Maybe complete my tuning once that's done I can start the swap since I won't be able to tune until the new clutch is broken in and that might take a a few weeks to do

I'm going with the aem 30-3352, the thing is getting enough space to add anything to it lol its behind the turbo no way to get to it thru the top and from behind it's difficult enough just tighten the damn banjo bolt. My plan will be to take the turbo off inspect the threads then put it back on,
I will try logging a bit today just to make sure that I got rid of all my boost leaks once I know it's all good then I'll start tearing her apart again to install the f40 now that I have all the equipment I will be needing.

Yes I do lol the car will be apart almost completely.
Looking here it seems I have leaks all over the place lol, well found another boost leak, it's next to the map sensor in the cp for some reason it has a hole at that's where everything is escaping from

Update: I need to get some silicone to use on the lower cp o-ring because it's leaking so that should fix boost leak problems once and for all.
Also received something today
Stg1 cams with fuel lobe

Tell me about it they were all in the lower cp I haven't messed with it since I installed it but yeah kinda silly tbh. That's the main reason I haven't done anything to the car
