This isn't exactly a Disney web site and I sure like it a lot more without the extra ads.

I know it costs money for upkeep. I don't know I thought vendors decals and premium memberships helped with that.

You can't even say @$$ or even the word nobody I've seen censored....




Its just distracting , and not only that I see ads for Ford and other stuff on a Chevrolet based site, I know this stuff used to exist on the top and bottom banners but it is just much more obtrusive. I personally would probably be looking at other sites right about now because of it ...

There were some initial issues with the way the filter was set up, but it has since been modified so that it only effects guests who are not logged in.

Regular members should not see the censored stuff, if you do please link to specific examples.

Seriously tho I mean . most people are over 18 and really don't care if they read words for adults. I think the site shouldn't allow any one under 18 to even join it.. I don't really care what a kid has to say honestly I don't. I would make it 21+ but thats me ...

The most annoying part of the adds are the drop down ones that take up 3/4 of the screen when you accidentally swipe the mouse over them.

 

I've noticed for a while the censor seems to be hit & miss;
sometimes a word will get blocked, then other times it won't.

at first I thought I was seeing that hte censor was being changed, or occasionally disabled...

I know that the other week a really retarded word got blocked on one of my posts, but when it was quoted the censor didn't block it...
I also used the edit post feature, and viola - the censor un-censored the word...

 

Yeah, censoring the word "Kn ob" really baffled me. I say turn it off all together. If you want to leave it on the censor racial slurs and other inappropriate **** then fine. But lets just remember we are all adults here.

 

that post with the word knob censored in it, was made back in June, I think that's before we even got here.

not sure why it censored ass though, that one isn't even on the list!

If you see other specific examples, let us know and we'll look into it.

 

Someone tried to quote me last week, and it censored the first part of my name. It's my last name, also the most common surname in the world. I couldn't reproduce the issue for me though.

Google adblock. Greatest thing ever. But I cant use it at work. I mean, atleast have relevant ads. Why do I need coupons for philly? I agree with ads for non signed in people, but this site was alot more pleasant without all of the ads.

 

My biggest complaint on this site is how as soon as a girl joins, the thread is filled with **** or GTFO post. Can we ban then ******* morons. It gives such a bad impression on this site. And its really ******* annoying. Please do something about it.
