Attn: STOP TROLLING!!
Seriously I am sick and tired of coming onto this site every night and finding reported posts from members because people can't seem to let stuff go. Posting a comment in a thread that does not answer the question or further the topic are unnecessary and out of line. That is considered trolling and they will be dealt with accordingly. The trolling and off topic member bashing/mocking stops NOW!
If you have an issue with a member address it via PM, if the conflict cannot be resolved ignore the user. But posts that have nothing to do with the topic at hand, ESPECIALLY in legitimate technical threads/discussions need to stop right now.
If you have a problem with this then you need to review the rules you agreed to when you signed up for the site: www.cobaltss.net/rules.php
If you can't follow the rules then its best if you do not come to the forum anymore or keep your posts to yourself.
This is my first and final warning about this, next I'll start issuing infractions to those members that can't seem to follow the rules.
Thank you,
REIGN SS

I'm not bashing on the work chat, if someone makes a random/off topic thread then I don't care what people talk about but when someone is posing a legitimate question/comment/thread then I want it to be discussed seriously and not taken off topic with a random comments/pics or trolling/flaming remarks that have nothing to do with the subject at hand.

I'm pretty sure a lot of us could have went all our lives without reading that. And Ryan sounds good to me.

Thank you.
Here is something I would like to bring up.
What about the situation where some one starts a thread and new members are discussing a topic that might be a little bit over their heads. But at the same time they are learning from each other and building a foundation for what might be considered a complicated topic. IE Turbo Conversations.
Then a member with a lot of posts jumps in and calls everyone an idiot without providing any helpful information. Then the member's fan boys join in and completely ruin the thread.

what if a certian person does not seem to understand or read the entire thread and jumps to conclusions...and keeps doing this...so fellow members let him/her know they he/she is dumb..is that considered trolling?
**** happens. people talk **** regardless. if your going to correct someone, do it. everyone has their own opinion on things. nothing wrong with with a little bit of flavor in the forums. but sometimes they can get out of hand... not always though. some people are just skinny computer nerds who hate confrontations and get all but hurt.... this applies to some people
but i do agree with the PMs if it gets to hot

i think your own descresion (SP) can and should be used..i think most of us know when somone serious is talking about a turbo conversion, or when somone is just blowing smoke out their ass trying to impress people.
