A couple of rules suggestions.

When telling n00bs or others to 'search' you must post atleast one link that provides some sort of relevant information. This was recently enacted on another board I visit and it keeps the "search you ****** noob" posts from happening.

On the same tangent, when a repost is posted instead of just saying "repost" you should be required to link to the original thread.

Just a couple of thoughts.

I usually try to do that out of courtesy. It seems like common sense to me. In fact, just by showing them the original thread, it becomes redundant to point out that it is a repost.
