How-To Forum suggestion
Since people don't follow the rules, or even bother to read them sometimes...can we just remove the "New thread" button under the "How To" Forum? There is a ton of crap in there that doesn't need to be. The forum states that all How-To guides must be mod approved before displayed, but anyone can post anything in there.
I would love to clean it up, but need to be a mod to do it... !

I just used the REPORT button on the side of the first post of the threads. I got 7 or 8 removed. But kept finding them to fast to report
It does look much better in there though

I've been working on the reporting all the crap...I've gotten to Page 8 but the started to get the server is busy message. Not to mention the 100 sec time limit between reporting sucks! I've been working for 2 hours now.

Alrighty, the How-To Forum is finally cleaned up! Mad props to Halfcent for dealing with my 60+ bad post reports! I won't overload you next time!
Anyway, I had another idea for it. I don't know how many people would like it, but how about grouping How-To Guides into sub forums, ie "Interior, Exterior, Performance, Audio, and Basic Maintenance?
Just throwing it out there....
Jonel, any luck on removing the New Thread button in the How-To Forum yet?

It’s been like that for over a week now. I changed it when I asked members to report anything that does not belong in there. I moved quite a few as well
PS. Try submitting a dumb how to, see if it make sit in
