repping should b turned off, it causes too much conflict, i think there should b an option for this, just like viewing other members sigs!

if you could turn it off, it would defeat the purpose of having it, b/c all the bad members would just have it disabled and we would never know

Personally I really like the rep system. This is the first forum I've joined that uses it and I think it really gives some insight into what other members are like.
Random reppers, bad attitude reps and rep beggars all spoil the numbers but hopefully everyones' score will even out in the long run.

I would prefer if the rep system showed the name of those giving rep, though. I try to pay back those that help me out.

yeah, but that is part of the problem, is that you shouldnt rep someone just b/c they rep'd you... That is kinda random, you should rep someone for good info/posts not just b/c they rep'd you...

But i would like it if the system did show you who posted the rep, i think there would be alot less random neg rep if that was the case.
