Idea to help Forum for searching..

Okay.. thought about this earlier..

The mods create a new section called "Search Database"...

The point is to help people find what they are searching for... But in order for this to work, we would all need to pitch in..

Lets say someone is searching for information on running 42s with a 2.8... What that person does is create a new thread in the "search database" titled with some good search keywords... like "running 42s pound injectors with 2.8 pulley"... and after they find a few good threads, they post the links in which they found the most information in that thread...

Now when someone else goes to search.. they turn on "search post title only" (because thats how everything is sorted) and then go and search specifically in the "search database" section... they can type the question (this is why the more keywords in the title the better) they will actually pull up some good information...

Any body catch my drift?

moved to site development and help.

honestly, this will never work for this site. i don't understand what is so hard in running a search on any forum. i've never had a problem using the advanced search function here. members are just lazy to do it.

Sorry i had NO idea this section exsisted..

I know... this would just make it easier on those people...

We all know how it gets annoying when some people cant get the obvious, but we deal with that situation every day... and with running a website, you need to accommodate to everybody, with the clueless being included...

We wouldn't need to create a new section if people would just use descriptive thread titles.
