the only people coming onto your site and trolling and spammers. the people who are raising concern are those that have been here a while... and they raise a very good point. where is the authority?? yeah obviously you can't be at your computer 24/7 to keep everything in check. but you could atleast get more than one mod that contributes to the site.

hell i'll be a mod. i'm on this bitch all the time.

 

Raising concerns and bashing are two totally different things.
I removed someone’s signature bashing the site, and instead of taking a clue, he made a tread to bash me.
and people just love to jump on the band wagon.

That is true. We do need more of that. These trolls take advantage of the fact that there isn’t someone stilting there with a stick watching every post everyone makes.

It's not a band-wagon, its many people with issues that don't think anything is being done about it.

This place has given me so much in terms of entertainment and car knowledge but its frustrating to many of us the way the site is being run / driection is being pushed into. I don't even pitch ideas to mods anymore becuase they flatout tell me there's nothing that can be done for anything. We wouldn't make these threads if we didn't want this place to become better, remember that.

It won't but thats not what I'm referring to. I don't agree with with your first sentance. Based on some replies I have seen of mods, reading the rules pages, and the other events that occur often here that seems to be the kind of response that is drawn out of people. I bet if it was not acceptable to say "f-u" in threads, people would talk to you differently.


Are you actively looking for mods? Are there any plans for forum growth? Forum development? a business-like initiative?

pm'd. get those trolls!!! im tired of having to worry about getting ripped off or that one guy that post the pic of a cat that says look at my ******* *****... look.

 

no offense. but i think this is a prime example of why the site is going downhill. you spend all of your time trying to do all the work yourself. then potential vendor pms, user pms, problem pms, and i'm sure even mod pms go unread and unnoticed. and so then when you sign off there is no one there to pick up where you left off and everything jsut gets worse, potential vendors never get a response and take their business elsewhere, trolls multiply(no pun intended), scammers keep getting away... one step forward two steps back...

 

listen, if you only have thirty minutes a day to do this, then you need to work on getting more mods in that thirty minutes.

You get us more mods and we will give you more membership money.

 

i have an idea to help with the for sale section so ppl dont get ripped off as often. its used on other forums and pretty effective. im waiting to have johhnyb's attention before i propose it tho.

 

bring back the seller rating system instead of just making a section on the forums? jlol trust me its been advocated before.
