you have been here a fraction of the time some of us have. we know what it used to be like and the way things should be run. there was a time where this was indisputably the best GM sport compact site. its a bullshit site primarily being run by kids who just care about projector headlights and fart cans more than anything else

Hey johnny... Pretty sure this is OUR site, seeing as how one man cannot make a community, sure you started the site, right on! but this isn't YOUR site. Get rid of the ego, everyone contributes. All everyone is asking for is a little more moderation, bring this site back to the glory days of a few years ago. I'm sure you would also like to see that, so make it happen.

Just "knowing" your car isn't enough. Anyone can know cars. A mod should be active, level headed, and semi knowledgeable. Some of the stupidest people I’ve met knew their cars, but it doesn’t change the fact that they were stupid. A mod should also be able to refrain from using ‘netspeak’ A mod doesn’t need to know everything, but should be able to point you in the right direction or to the right person if he/she doesn’t know the answer. Heck, I’ve got a degree from UTI, that doesn’t mean I know everything. (in fact I know jackshit these days) But I certainly know how to research.
On the sites I used to mod, we had mods for different sections of the site. And that’s the only place they had power. If a thread was in the wrong area, they could move it to the right area, but that’s as long as their reach was to other areas. Only mods that had access to the whole site were the actual owners or founders of the site.
