Thumbs down No Start :(

So went over to buddies house today to finally install catless BadMab downpipe.. Disconnected o2 sensor, took off stocker and installed the BadMab.. went to start up annnd nothing.. Just clicking noise, flashing engine and car locked light with each click. No idea what it is, really doesn't make sense. Talked with Warner, battery voltage was reading fine, nothing else disconnected.. So disconnected ECU, reconnected, waited about 10-15 minutes then got a jump start from buddies V8 turbo diesel, and it started right up..

Well drove it back to my house, and let it set. About four hours later I go out to show a friend the slight difference in sound and same thing. Just clinking and no starts... any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Connection from fuse box is good. Batt connections are good as well. That pos terminal is tightened down (wasn't loose at all) and still nothing.. Attempted to start again and same ish, just "click click click click."

Makes no sense... Hmm...

Tested the battery yesterday and it was reading fine. I'll take it to Autozone though, never any start issue prior to DP, so I'm lost.

u say the lock is flashing? thats the passlock, i dont know how you would have triggered that. but there is a relearn procedure. not sure if its the same as it was for my 04 redline or not. but put key to key on engine off for ten mins, and then off and then repeat 2 more times (3 in total) and u shoudl be able to go. i had do the relearn when switching my ign switch.

but it also shoyuld not be able to be jumped if the pass lock has been triggered as this is part of your security systems

All the usual lights come on with key in ignition. Only when I goto start the engine light and car locked lights flash in sync with the clicking.

Yeah that wouldn' make sense either, but guess I'll try any and every idea until I bring it to Autozone.

Well attempted the security relearn however, the lock light is supposed to stay on and it didn't. It says "service ecs, service brake sys, ecs off, service traction and all tire pressures showing --" so.. Well that def did'nt work.

You're thinking a fuse is blown, or some wiring?

Waitin for ride to Autozone, read a few similar cases of people ending up being their battery, others just had a ton of parts replaced. >
