Just curious since this is a vBulletin board as to why you guys haven't turned on access for the Tapatalk app? It's free on the sites end afaik
I've been using the cobaltss.net app but that bitch is a battery hog compared to Tapatalk... and Tapatalk is just far superior to it anyways.

Oh yes. Much better. You can even attach pictures directly to your post. You can't do that with the mobile app. And the mobile version online... garbage. Just like most mobile versions of any website.
You can also get notifications of new private messages pushed automatically as well as any thread you want. Also Tapatalk supports almost every forum I go to. And being able to switch between forums using one app is awesome.

We've tried to get Tapatalk turned on for awhile now.
Something about how IB (the company that owns the board) won't let it be turned on because they don't trust it or something redic.

I asked about this a while ago. This is the response I was given:
"IB has elected not to install it on their communities. It is a combination of privacy and security concerns. IB owns some of the largest automotive communities on the web and is reluctant to open their servers to pass every single post through a third party."

I dont know who Lee is or why people are reporting this. But that reason posted above is bullshit...sorry. it doesn't make any sense. If its good for so many other forums...cobalt ss isnt above the thousands of others using Tapatalk...including XDA...which dwarfs this site

Lee is the other mod in here besides myself. This whole thing doesn't matter to me for two reasons, one I don't use the mobile site, and two I can't change it anyway. Ib doesn't want to do it, then well it is what it is.
