When you google chevy cobalt this forum is the 4th entry down so with that notoriety, I think it would be in this forums best interest to ban all talk of illegal activities. Jailbait, pot, street racing. There are other forums out there where this is in effect. I think that anyone who happens upon our forum and would see some of the topics on here would get bad vibes etc from US all of US...What you do on your time is your buisness but dont put it public, or talk about it in the dungeon where not everyone can see it. Everyone talks about the Cobalt not having any rep well maybe if we started acting like mature people we might give us the benefit of the doubt. Am I just crazy for thinking this or does anyone else agree with this?

theres 5 thousand civic forums and no one respects them either....its not in the sites best intrest to ban certain stuff due to the fact that most of the members would leave..its been brought up by an0m before about banning street racing..and admin said and i quote "we dont support street racing..but it is allowed to be talked about"

But, if we as a community say that its not ok; maybe it will show some people not everyone does it, or thinks its ok

...or think it's "cool"

i'm not all about racing on the streets but in an enclosed race track and you get a kill then props to you. e-shake. e-chestbump. but the street racing is IMO not a smart move especially if you're braggin bout it all over the internet. my 2 cents.

No, I don't mind racing, but that is what the track is for. But when they are doing it down the streets me and my loved ones drive on yeah, it bothers me

honestly if someone is looking for jailbait or pot on the internet they aren't going to come to a car forum. now if someone is going to stumble into the forum then they are looking for something not just randomly checking the websites. and everything that is publicly accessible is pg13 to say the least and everything thats R rated is in the dungeon. so i don't see what the big deal is

this is what people like to do. youtube doesnt block people from watching these videos so why do we think we should ban anyone from talking about it

But, the thing is, when a user first comes onto the site, they see the 10 most recent threads, what kind of image does "Street Racer Thread" "I'm going to hell" "Official Jailbait thread" "driving HIGH" type threads on the front page say about the community?

you all complain about cops picking on you all but at the same time you'll talk about all this stuff on a public website...i bet honest black people that own escalades hate getting picked on by the police but when all your "ganstas" have them its like a flag...and dont say well there not checking car forums...yeah they are. they have internet intelligence units separate form the sex crimes units. I know here Pittsburgh police have gang officers that sit on myspace all day to see whats going on in the city, so again i think its good for the community

ask any old muscle head they all have street raced its nothing new, and it wont go away. the only thing you may be able to do is move all talk like that to the dungeon, so if you pay you can talk about it but thats about it. still doesnt really stop the street racing talk

i'm not saying you have a problem i'm more so saying the people that know tints illegal get it then bitch when they have to take it off... the same way when "all the traffic was going 70 in a 55" yeah when you have a car with a big wing and big rims stock, an exhaust etc it makes you stick out...so when they look at you registration or whatever to see what kind of car it is, they get curious and google it and the number 4 google hit is this forum and they come on here and see all this stuff doesnt it make them think hey i got that kid today for speeding and they're on here talking about topping out and street racing so next time when they see one next to lets say a mustang or something and either of them chirps tires in the least way...uh oh street racing.

i'm just thinking way outside the box because in the past couple days the type of posts on here has hit a new low and its kinda bad and makes us all look bad to anyone who happens across this forum

ya i agree if you put tint on and everyone knows that tint on the front windows is illegal and you get pulled over for it. then you really shouldn't have an issue or reason to be pissed. and i agree with all your other points as well. sorry if i sounded like a ***** in my earlier post.
