Who do I talk to about a username change?

Who do I talk to about a username change?
I think supernovanator is outdated, so I murdered that username brutally a couple weeks ago on everything else. I sent the site help email address an email(per instruction of prior threads like this) asking to change it probably two weeks ago and nothing has happened. Is there a new method to get my name changed? Can a mod or supermod do it?
I think there has to be a legit reason behind wanting to change your username. Like say your username is SamLovesSally and Sally was your wife and she ended up ******* half the 49ers on your vacation to san francisco. Thats when I would say it would be time for a username change
