I need a tune bad, mondays are my only days off, please help!

 

bump is smg still on this board, and do they still tune ecotecs?

 

smg still tunes ecotecs his shop, SMG motorsports is easy to fine, just punch it into google and his site pops up.

 

yes I was tuned there before..they haven't been very active on this site and I was hoping for some feedback on here from them but I will just call.

 

He's had some issues with some people on here. If you are looking for a tune and don't feel like drivng a couple of hours, you can always contact me. Im located in Lowell and would be more than happy to help you out

I emailed SMG over a week ago about a tune, with no response, so I can understand why they are having issues with some people on here.

 

I'm sure they are very busy but has anyone on here had contact with them lately?

 

I don't think you're going to get anyone unfortunately. That seems to be the biggest issue with Fred. Unless you physically drive to his place and knock on the door, he won't answer you or help ya out.

 

Filters the internet time wasters that way, plenty of those on this site!

 

I was texting fred all week no issues. Call them

 

O I completely understand that but his rep has gone way down from the twincharge issue and also everything else I have seen him do tune wise. Installer wise, definitely meticulous and a straight shooter, when he does the work when he says hes going to do it.


I don't think he wants to hand his cell phone number out to everyone because instead of emails to answer his phone would have texts from everyone lol. Customer service and rep is important if not, more important than how you do work.

Give one person good service and he will tell 10 people. Give someone bad service and he will tell 100.

At the end of the day, someone could have had that twincharge for $10k...I'm still sick to my stomach over that, I have $10k into my balt and it has been broken in the driveway for 3 months fawk.

There's more to the story than him just being tired of the car. I spoke with Bryan two weeks ago and the engine is burning coolant on a regular basis and he doesn't even daily drive it. He would go through about a quart every other week after driving it maybe 3-4 times per week.

It's better this way I think that you didn't make an offer. I don't think you want another 10k cobalt sitting in your driveway.

 

I was able to get some dyno tune time set up so I will be following through with SMG. I was pleased the first time so I am going to be a returning customer. thanks everyone else.
also, wow you guys put a lot of money into your chevrolet cobalts.
